Amanda + Scott | Rosedale, Indiana

Amanda and Scott were married in September on Scott's land out in Rosedale, Indiana. It ended up being pretty warm for the end of September but the trees offered ample shade from the sun and it made everything so much cooler and bearable! Amanda looked absolutely stunning in her gown and it was obvious to everyone how in love these two were after Scott finally got a chance to see her during their First Look. Their ceremony was nestled back into the trees and beautifully styled with simple, elegant touches. I loved that instead of a unity candle or sand ceremony they decided to plant a tree together. It will be so special for them to watch that little sapling grow big and strong just as their marriage grows bigger and stronger each year. I just love it! After the ceremony we had some dancing, some drinking and a whole lotta eating. Amanda and Scott really know how to throw a party, let's just leave it at that! ;) I did talk them into doing just a few more bridal portraits on the dirt road that leads up to their property right at sunset. It was so hot that a hazy fog settled near the ground creating the most breathtaking effect for their portraits. It was a perfect end to a perfect day, truly. Thank so much for having us, we had the best time!
