On Saturday Heidi and I photographed Janelle + Tony's barn wedding in Wolcott, Indiana. I've had so much fun getting to know the two of them over the past few months and was really looking forward to being a part of their big day. Janelle + Tony put a lot of thought into the details of their wedding and made everything intimately meaningful. I can't even tell you how many times Janelle pointed something out and explained that someone in their families had provided or hand crafted it. The wedding was truly a joint effort by both families and they pulled it off seamlessly. I especially loved their vintage touches throughout the day from Tony's Austin Healey Sprite (that's a car for you non-motorheads) to the record player that played the music for the first dances. And, even the ceremony was perfectly timed right at sunset so the entire grounds were bathed in the most gorgeous golden glow while Janelle & Tony recited their vows. The reception kicked off with an adorable duet by the bride and groom because, seriously why wouldn't you sing to your guests after just getting married? They're so adorable I literally can't even. The food was delicious, the music was spot on and the dancing was fabulous, especially when Tony broke it down. ;) We had such a blast hanging out with you two! Thank you for trusting us to document this special time in your lives. Enjoy the preview!
