A few weeks ago Heidi and I photographed Kaitlyn & Seth's gorgeous December wedding at the Bel-Air in Kokomo, Indiana. Despite our warmer than average temps this winter, this particular Saturday happened to be in the 30's so taking photos outside was a little tricky. Both the girls & guys were such great sports and we ended up getting some fabulous shots even though everyone was literally FREEZING! ;) Kaitlyn & Seth decided not to do a First Look but did open gifts and read their personal vows with a door separating the two of them. It was so touching and such a great way to be able to connect without seeing one another. The short but super sweet ceremony took place in the sweepingly beautiful banquet hall that also housed the reception. After taking a few gorgeous bridal portraits of the new Mr. & Mrs. we got right down to business with the first dances. During the father/daughter dance, Kaitlyn and her Dad invited other fathers and daughters to join them on the dance floor & Seth and his Mom did the same when it was their turn. I loved seeing all of the parents dancing with their children, the love was just written all over their faces. And, speaking of dancing, Kaitlyn's grandparents stole the show! The two of them glided across the dance floor together with such ease one can only assume they've done it a time or two before. ;) We had such a great time photographing your day! Congratulations again, Kaitlyn & Seth and enjoy your preview!
