On Saturday I got a chance to go back to some of my old stomping grounds in Williamsport, Indiana. We lived in Warren County for several years while I attended Purdue and every time I return for a visit it feels so deliciously nostalgic. It reminds me of simpler times when money was scarce and dreams were big. So, needless to say I was so thrilled when Emily invited me back to photograph their big day. Their wedding took place at the bride's family cabin on a private patch of land complete with a pond, weeping willow trees and a western sunset. Justin and Emily were married under a tree with the most romantic handmade mason jar chandeliers dangling from its branches. Emily put so much care and personality into every single detail of their wedding from the pumpkins planted months before and harvested specifically to use for decor to the shell casings used to make the boutonnieres. At the reception everyone listened to some amazing toasts, watched a few special dances and then threw on a sweater and hit the dance floor. Thank you so much for letting us document your big day, Emily & Justin, enjoy the preview!
