Whew! It was a whirlwind of a Summer full of weddings and Saturday marked our last one before October rolls around. Technically it was already Fall on Saturday but the calendar LIED to us all and gave us scorching hot temperatures so I still count it as Summer. ;) Anyway, back to the wedding at hand! Kristen & Michael are one the the very few couples I hadn't met until the day of their wedding. She had to make some last minute changes with vendors so I stepped in a few months ago to take over the photography for her big day. I always and I mean *always* get lucky with my wedding clients, or maybe I just really like everyone? Either way, Kristen and Michael were absolutely delightful and seriously so much fun to work with. They planned the loveliest of backyard weddings that was personal and intimate and tailored to their low maintenance outlook on the world. They were up for anything I suggested and Kristen even jumped on Michael's back for a piggy back ride, not the easiest thing in the world to do in a wedding dress! I commented on how easy going and carefree she was and Michael said, "why do you think I married her?!" :) With a relationship like that I know these two are destined to do great things together. Thank you so much for allowing us to be a small part of your big day. Best wishes & enjoy the preview, you two!
