Kassie and Seth tied the knot last month in a gorgeous ceremony at Black Iris Estate in Carmel, Indiana. They both have children separately and together and so the day truly was more about their family as a whole rather than just the bride and groom. And, if I'm being honest, these are some of my favorite kinds of weddings! Their kiddos were so excited to get dressed up and have their pictures taken, although I will admit some more than others. ;) But, they powered through and I got some super adorable shots not only of the little ones but also of the entire bridal party. The grounds of Black Iris are absolutely stunning and offered so many great spots for photos and bless their hearts they did a First Look so we had plenty of time to take full advantage. Once we wrapped bridal portraits, the guests began arriving and the ceremony began. It was the very definition of short and sweet, one, because Kassie's brother officiated, and two, because the bride and groom are truly a go with the flow, no frills type of couple. They were so easy to work with and were just happy to finally be married, everything else was icing on the cake. And speaking of cake, Kassie and Seth chose donuts holes as their desert of choice and I have never seen such a beautiful display of pastries! It was amazing, truly. In another first, we had a hookah bar at the reception. How cool is that?? Black Iris really knocked it out of the park. We had such a great time documenting your big day, congratulations again Kassie + Seth!
